This medium bodied wine spent a total of 19 months in a mixture of American, Slovakian, and French oak. Aromas of fresh strawberries, raspberries, and red currents are interlaced with herbaceous aromas of marjoram, oregano, and roasted peppers. This wine shows a generous red fruit character on the palate with juicy mouthwatering acidity, followed by sweet vanilla, cassis and a lingering refreshing bitterness of roasted espresso.
