Take a sip of something that is a little out of the norm! This is a project spearheaded by the son of Maren and Cameron Hosmer, Tim. Behind the production facility we have several pear and apple trees that are largely decorative, planted by Cameron Hosmer's grandfather. Starting in 2014 Tim Hosmer tinkered with making a Peary-style cider. We are currently selling the 2015 rendition of his project.
Delicate jasmine and lily on the nose lead to notes of peach skin and Bartlett pear on the palate. The finish carries notes of pear and green apple.
The name "Berri" is the basque word for "new". It is believed that the Cabernet Franc grape comes from this region of Spain. With the arrival of spring, we are celebrating this new release, our first 2021 red wine to be bottled. It is meant to be enjoyed with a slight chill during the warmer days of spring and summer.
Red raspberry, fennel, and niçoise olives lead to strawberry and mulberry on the palate. The finish is crisp and fruit-driven, perfect for summer!

The Hosmer Sangria is a staple year-round drink in the Finger Lakes. The aromas of fresh lemon, lime, strawberry and orange roll into the palate with intensified flavors of the same. Sangria brightens the senses and stimulates the moment for more of the juicy, refreshing and mouth pleasing experience. It’s the kind of wine you want to keep sipping on.
Cocoa powder and violets are on the nose with a midpalate of raspberry and strawberry. The finish is bright and carried by a balance of strawberry and pink grapefruit. Pair with Seared Ahi Tuna with Tomatoes, Olive Oil and Garlic, Charcuterie Tray with Salami, Prosciutto, and Black Olives. R.S: 0%
Most vintages this wine is just not possible to make. Either we do not have enough fruit to pull aside what stands out, or the wine just does not come together as hoped. In 2020, two barrels from the barrel fermented Sauvignon Blanc lot stood out as exceptional. Post fermentation the barrels started malolactic fermentation, but it was stopped partially complete. When the larger Sauvignon Blanc lot was blended over the winter, these barrels were reserved.
Our single vineyard Riesling. The nose reflects a cooler Riesling vintage-white flower and tamarind open on the nose, leading to rich brioche on the midpalate. The finish is long and mouthwatering, carried by tight acidity. Pair with a Pizza Topped With Spinach, Mushroom, and Feta Cheese, A Spicy Thai Bowl, Pad Thai, or Carbonara. R.S: 1.6%
The nose is tropical-driven: pineapple and guava. This leads to a floral and rich midpalate carried by notes of lilac. The finish rich, balanced by delicate rose petal and jasmine. 89% stainless steel, 11% oak. Pair with Chicken Fettuccine, Oysters on the Half Shell, Caesar Salad with Grilled Shrimp. R.S. 0.3%
Our 2019 Patrician Verona Riesling has a smoky nose balanced out by lime blossom. The palate is of sweet, yellow peaches and cherry blossoms. The finish is juicy, bursting with apricot and nectarine. Pair with Sweet Peach Pie, Spicy Thai Food, Pork Tenderloin. R.S. 3.8%
During the first two weeks of November, the fruit to be picked for our Late Pick Riesling was thinned to leave behind only the sweetest berries and botrytized fruit. On November 15, 2019, 2.1 tons of fruit were handpicked, destemmed, and crushed. The nose is lightly honeyed and bursting with tropical notes. A palette of mango and pineapple is balanced by an undercurrent of fresh-cut hay. A rich and opulent finish carries this wine through the end palette. Pair with Goat-Cheese Souffle, Lemon-Blueberry Pound Cake, Apple Tart with Cheddar Ice Cream, or a Small Glass after Dinner. R.S. 7.9%

A nose of blood orange and rose petal. The midpalate is a balance of lime pith and honeydew. The finish is rich and alludes to tropical notes balanced by rich grapefruit zest. Ice Wine demands certain temperatures, roughly 6 hours of 12-18F. An uncommonly cold night 11/12/19 into the morning of 11/13/19 allowed the 2019 harvest crew to make the first Hosmer Winery Ice Wine in nearly two decades.
A rich concentration of tangelo and mandarin rind open the nose. The midpalate is a balancing act of red raspberry and tangerine pith. The finish is both a rich and tight expression of citrus carried by the opulence of a honeyed dessert Riesling. Pair with Foie gras burger, strong cheeses such as blue cheese, dark chocolate, fruit tart, or simply a glass by itself. R.S: 19.4%
The 2020 Cabernet Franc-Lemberger blend is 65% Cabernet Franc, 35% Lemberger. The Cabernet Franc components were stainless steel aged, while the Lemberger components were aged in neutral French oak barrels. Violet and raspberry on the nose lead to rose petals and sweet cherry on the palate. The finish is plush, driven by black raspberries. Pair with Pork Schnitzel, Greek Lamb Meatballs, Grilled Eggplant & Goat Cheese Pizza, Flourless Chocolate Cake. R.S: 0%

Produced using the traditional Methode Champenoise technique, involving a secondary fermentation that occurs in each bottle. Naomi, a name that has run in the Hosmer family, is said to mean "pleasantness" A fitting word to describe this fun, bubbly, carbonated Riesling. The nose of this Riesling brings forward rich mandarin and raspberry along with well-balanced carbonation. The finish is filled with hints of lemon zest and cherry blossom.
