Our 2020 Barrel Fermented Chardonnay is here! This estate bottle wine was fermented and aged for 20 months in French oak. This is a fuller bodied chardonnay with notes of ripe apples and pears. It has a crispness with notes of vanilla and oak.
It pairs well with poultry, pasta, shellfish, fatty fishes, veal, pork. It pairs well with a wide variety of hard and soft, or even creamy cheeses. It also pairs with savory dishes such as grilled, seared or roast shellfish like lobster and scallops, roasted chicken; dishes that include wild mushrooms and slow roasted tomatoes.
Tasting Notes: Aged for two years in French oak, this full body, deep red wine is so satisfying. Notes of Black Cherry, Black Currants, with medium tannins, and medium acidity. Very smooth and long finish.
