Our 2019 Barrel Fermented Chardonnay was fermented in new French oak barrels allowing the key Chardonnay varietal characters to be retained. It was then aged for months in those barrels. This Chardonnay is smooth and full of flavor. The flavor is a balance of apples, pears, nuts, light butter and oak.
It pairs well with poultry, pasta, shellfish, fatty fishes, veal, pork. It pairs well with a wide variety of hard and soft, or even creamy cheeses. It also pairs with savory dishes such as grilled, seared or roast shellfish like lobster and scallops, roasted chicken; dishes that include wild mushrooms and slow roasted tomatoes.
