This Petit Verdot was aged for 3 years in French oak. It boasts a deep garnet color and offers aromas of dark berries, plums, and subtle hints of vanilla and spice from the oak. On the palate, the wine is velvety with flavors of blackberries, black cherries, and a touch of dark chocolate. The French oak contributes integrated tannins and a subtle toastiness, leading to a smooth and extended finish.
