After a lightning-fast sellout of the first batch, we had to make more. Estate-grown Ida Red apples aged in a Northern Latitudes Rye Whisky barrel for 3 months. Fruity, off-dry, subtle barrel notes. This was early-summer’s best-seller, as the Ida cider, which is fabulous on its own, is rounded out by an intimation of the rye-saturated oak. Unlike other "barrel-aged" ciders, we were gentle with the oak touch, and it makes all the difference - this cider will undoubtedly be remembered, and hopefully replicated, in the years to come.
