The blend celebrates our winemaker’s skills and artistry. This full-bodied wine is gushing with fruit and firm tannins. It has a smooth, rounded mouth feel and concludes with a rich finish. Pairs well with burgers, steak, vegetarian main dishes and dishes with rich sauces.
7% Petite Sirah
The 2013 Commonwealth continues the Syrah-blend tradition with the addition of Mourvedre, a Rhone varietal that adds deep color and luscious fruit characteristics of cherries and berries. Our well-drained soils and ideal growing conditions optimize the flavors of the grapes. The wine presents well-structured tannins and will age well. Pairs with bold and spicy main dishes or appetizers, and blue cheese, cheddar cheese, Gouda cheese and Camembert cheese.
Well balanced and easy drinking wine, with a nose of arid desert earth and dark fruit. The mouth feel is typical of Arizona Sangiovese with a vibrant and exciting acidity. Pairs well with Italian light meat and pasta dishes.

This is a crowd favorite, pushing the boundaries of possibility of many Cab drinkers. This is a huge wine, with firm tannin that is beautifully offset by unbelievably rich, fruit forward characteristics. This wine has some aging potential, and would make a great addition to any Arizona wine connoisseur’s personal collection. Pairs with bold foods including beef, lamb, and meaty spaghetti.
