Syrah has a great tannin structure that is complimented by the smooth bourbon character that the Heaven Hill barrels gave during the months of aging. We believe that this style of Syrah is one of the most casually drinking reds we offer, and is a great wine to enjoy after work or with a meal. Salut!
Our first Methode Champenoise, this delicate wine is only available in extremely limited quantity. Only 36 cases made.
The 2016 Blanc de Blanc, or “white from whites” was made in the traditional methode champenoise style from 100% estate grown Chardonnay grapes. The secondary fermentation began en tirage in May of 2017 and the wine has rested on the yeasts for 2 ½ years. Recently disgorged of the yeast and dosaged with .9% RS.
This Blanc de Blanc is classic in nature with yeasty notes of rich Brioche on the nose with a well balanced natural acidity along with a distinct minerality. This combination allows for aging as well as a wide range of pairings be it everything from shellfish to strongly aged cheeses, or as a glass of bubbly on its own
A true expression of the Finger Lakes region, our Cabernet Franc is delicate and complex with a hint of oak.
An up front nose of sweet cherry and creamy vanilla. The flavors are velvety with sweet cherry laced with chewy black pepper and strong tannins in the finish.
This rich dark red color Cabernet has full robust flavors of spice, jammy fruit and tobacco leaf on the nose. A genuinely palate pleasing wine with notes of spicy white pepper, mild oak and sweet Bing cherry round out the finish.
Himrod is a white table grape, released in 1952 by the New York Agricultural Experiment Station in Geneva, New York. It is seedless and known for ripening quickly and its sweet flavor. Himrod resulted from a cross of Ontario by Thompson Seedless, a particularly successful cross which resulted in the eventual release of four cultivars, the others being Interlaken, Romulus, and Lakemont.
Lemberger is officially classified under the name “Blauer Limberger,” this red grape variety also goes by the synonyms “Lemberger” and “Blaufränkisch.” The late-ripening Lemberger probably originated in vineyards on the lower stretches of the Danube River. The grape was documented in Austria in the second half of the 18th century and is cultivated there to this day (as Blaufränkisch) in Burgenland and near Vienna.
This wine has a brilliant color, is full bodied fruit and aroma, and has been aged in oak for 6 months.
The Merlot grape is a close cousin to Cabernet Sauvignon in many respects, Merlot is able to mature in regions that are cooler than those required for Cabernet Sauvignon. Merlot usually has ripe berry components in the bouquet. It tends to be soft, fruity, and smooth in texture.
Aromas of dark cherry are encased in lovely smoky oak. Sweet cherry bursts at mid palate with genuine tannin that lingers on to a soft oak finish.

Grown on a mix of sand and clay soils, this Pinot truly expresses the “terroir” of the Finger Lakes. Complex, yet delicate, this wine ages well for 3-5 years!

Un-oaked and fermented in stainless steel tanks. The nose exhibits notes of cherry with hints of licorice and spice. Flavors of dark berry, and spices, accompany a medium tannin finish. Our 2.88 acres of Syrah planted in 2014, is one of the largest plantings in New York of this early ripening, vigorous variety from the northern Rhône. The site we chose to cultivate this variety is on the furthest down-slope of our original 1805 farm. The site is well drained with deep Howard series soils. This vineyard is steep and protected from strong spring winds, which also gives good air drainage in the winter and summer, protecting the site from both high and low temperatures Pair with hearty meals, red meat and heavy tomato based pastas such as beef brasato.
Other than Germany, the Riesling variety is better adapted to the Finger Lakes than any other area. Ours expresses both the spirit and delicacy that is developed by our cool, wet growing seasons and shale soil.

A blend of our estate Rieslings, fermented in such a way to preserve all of the natural Riesling flavor and sweetness. Grown on one of the best sites on our farm, The Riesling planting which is utilized for our Juicy Sweet cuvee is situated on Howard Gravel soil. The vineyard is situated on the lower half of the original 1805 family farm. The light Howard series gives a light tropical and peach nose and flavor, with good minerality, while the cool site with good morning sun limits disease pressure, yielding clean fruit.
On the nose a ripe pineapple aroma followed by juicy peach. Once this wine hits your mouth, clean flavors of nectarine and lemon citrus finish off with a crisp acidity. The grapes were grown on sand and clay soils imparting a complex flavor that maintains a crisp minerality. A superb "all occasion" wine to enhance appetizers, roast pork and even dessert such as apple pie.
Our estate grown Riesling grapes are usually harvested at optimum ripeness and then frozen before pressing, however, 2017 lent to a good early freeze that allowed for a natural ice wine. Very smooth, yet intense.
This native variety gem has a lovely honeyed pear and tropical fruit aroma. The taste is sweet and fruity and ends on a refreshing apple note. It is a romantic wine, perfect to bring to a picnic or sip by a roaring fire. Cheese and fruit are great companions for this bright-flavored effervescent wine.
Always popular, our hybrid dark red has a soft plumy nose encased in smooth oak. The taste of lip smackin' black fresh fruit with "a little attitude of tannins" Aged 1 year, older French & American Oak. This wine will showcase your red sauced Italian cuisine, such as chicken caccitore.
