Tasting Notes & Pairings
THE WINE: Made from hand-picked pineapple guava flowers—not grapes. Unfined and unfiltered with no added sulfites, this premium flower wine is ready to drink now!
COLOR & AROMA: Gorgeous pale gold in the glass, like Marigold's sassy second cousin, with herbaceous and rich, earthy forest floor, fresh fruit, and tropical notes on the nose. Lots of breadth. Very much alive feeling.
TASTE: Refreshing, juicy and dry with a clean finish, attractive herbaceousness, dried raspberries and pleasant minerality, in some ways "reminiscent of traditional rosé with flavors of watermelon and strawberry." (The Mercury News)
PAIRINGS: Sushi or baked fish, fresh and full garden salad (kale, heirloom tomatoes, cucumber, avocado, cheese cubes, parmesan vinaigrette), French fries.

Store in the fridge. Serve chilled -- but not cold -- to start. Swirl frequently to release the rich aromatics and allow the wine to adjust a bit to room temps. Then chill or not to taste.
