Aromas of stewed ripe plums, crushed blackberry, a slight chocolate cordial with a nice toasty barrel splash all blend well into this concentrated Merlot. At tasting this Merlot is very soft but also has wonderful granular tannin weight. This is a well extracted Merlot that is firm, big and has a slight earthy flavor complexity.
