Our 2014 Moscato Secco is a beautiful example of the subtle and complex characteristics this grape can show when presented in an off-dry style. Characteristics of floral, lemon, jasmine and orange blossoms are joined by flavors of pear, apple and tropical fruit. This wine is lightly textured with an underlying acidity and solid minerality that keep the flavors pure and sharp. Enjoy this wine with spicy curries, meats or charcuterie.
True Pinot Grigio style shines through in the 2019 vintage. Our 2018 vintage had a softer vanilla note from extended barrel aging. In contrast, the 2019 vintage is crisp with flavors of crab apple. On the nose you'll enjoy a salty floral aroma that invites you to savor mother nature with a glass of Pinot Grigio in hand. Enjoy this wine with a platter of cheeses and fresh fruit on a warm summer afternoon!
The newest vintage of Cuvee Blanc is a blend of Viognier, Muscat Blanc, and Blanc Du Bois. The beautiful tropical notes of Viogner with a hint of floral from the Muscat Blanc is most alluring. With 50% Neutral Oak aging, there is a softness that can only be achieved with barrel aging. Enjoy this quintessential white wine with a tower of seafood!
Vintage 2019 brings back the lovely floral nose of this warm climate varietal. Beyond the chamomile nose you’ll find lovely white peach and apricot on the tongue with a silky softness derived from the partially barrel fermented fruit.
Extended barrel aging give this wine a whiskey barrel nose with a hint of candied peach. Soft vanilla rounds out the flavor profile of this robust white wine. When you want to finish your evening with something other than a Port, this is your go to wine for fireside chats late into the night.
The 2019 Rosé is comprised of 100% Sangiovese grapes harvested three weeks earlier than those picked for our Super Texan. Early picking helps the wine achieve optimal acidity for that beautiful Provençal style. The salmon color is mesmerizing and the white orchid aromas refreshing. On the palate you’ll noticed watermelon and candied cherry, a common thread in the Flat Creek rosé program. Toast to Texas sunsets!
The “wine that made us famous” at Flat Creek Estate represents the ‘best of Texas’ in the wine category. It’s even been showcased on the Today Show! The 2017 Super Texan's mix of flavors and aromas are reminiscent of tart cherries, leather, earthiness, herbs, and oak, with abundant mature rustic tannins. The ruby garnet color compliments notes of violet and fig.
Introducing our first release of Texas Cuvee Rouge. Our initial Italian blend, released in 2016, was comprised of whole cluster Italian varietals purchased from the Sierra Ridge Vineyards in the Sierra Nevada Foothills of California. This new release is a blend of Texas High Plains Dolcetto & Zinfandel plus Texas Hill Country Petite Sirah. It is less austere and not quite as bold as our initial release...we hope you enjoy its welcoming Texas-style.
The 2015 Texas Hill Country Syrah is a blend of grapes from Flat Creek Estate and neighboring Hoover Valley Vineyards. Traditional blueberry and blackberry notes are blended with woodsy cedar to produce an aggressive Texas-style red wine. The wine begs for pork belly or Ukranian Aspic.
This Old World style wine exhibits subdued fruit notes and an abundance of acidity. You’ll notice a slight licorice hint on the nose with moderate fruit aromas. The palate presents a soft tannic structure with a clean limestone finish. Enjoy with Bacon Wrapped Shrimp and a side of Guacamole.
The 2014 Four Horsemen opens with aromas of thyme and juniper berries. The winter notes continue on the palate with a pleasant sugarplum and anise essence. The finish leaves your mouth salivating for more. Enjoy with Duck Confit or creamy blue cheese...we love the “Ewe Calf to be Kidding Me” cheese from Antonelli’s.
This richly tannic wine expresses Petite Sirah’s traditional blackberry jam characteristics with an underlying smokiness. The bright acidity and supportive oak fill the mouth and balance the intense tannins. Enjoy this wine with venison, wild boar or other hearty meats.
