If you like Gewürztraminer you will love the Fiore Traminette. A relatively new varietal, Traminette owes it flavors of melon and apricot and its aromas of honey and spicy orange to its parent grape Gewürztraminer . To take full advantage of Traminette’s superior acid and pH, Fiore maintains a small amount of natural residual sugar to balance the abundant flavors and aromas. Pairs well with roasted turkey, chicken, or pork, and is also an excellent accompaniment with baked ham or grilled vegetables. Best when served chilled (~50o F) – refrigerate for 2-hours before serving.
