As one of the pioneering east-coast producers of Sangiovese, Fiore has replicated the style of the premium Chianti and Super Tuscan wines of Italy. This vintage of Sangiovese is the result of favorable growing season followed by two years of Hungarian oak barrel aging. The wine exhibits aromas of intense fruit flavors with a velvety mouthfeel and chocolate flavors. Pairs well with all Italian food, anything grilled, beef, pork, lamb, chicken or turkey. Best when served at “cellar” temperature (~60o F) – if necessary refrigerate for 30 minutes before serving.
