As one of the pioneering east-coast producers of Sangiovese, Fiore has replicated the style of the premium Chianti and Super Tuscan wines of Italy. This vintage of Sangiovese is the result of favorable growing season followed by two years of French and American oak barrel aging. The wine exhibits intense fruit flavors of cherry and plum with nutty, floral and earthy aromas. Pairs well with all Italian food, anything grilled, beef, pork, lamb, chicken or turkey. Best when served at “cellar” temperature (~60o F) – if necessary refrigerate for 30 minutes before serving.
