With silky textures and rich flavors, this medium body Merlot has something for everyone that loves red wine. Although the mid-Atlantic climate can be a bit temperamental, our Merlot exhibits pronounced fruit with soft tannins built upon a complex flavor and aroma structure that was enhanced with two years of oak barrel aging. Flavors of plum and cherry are complemented with aromas of fig and herbs. Pairs well with most pasta or rice dishes and with white meats. Best when served at “cellar” temperature (~60o F) – if necessary refrigerate for 30 minutes before serving.
