We took grapes we had secured from Kiona Vineyard Estate in Red Mountain and made our best wine to date! The vines were planted in 1978 and create luscious fruit. The wine was fermented in our French Oak vat, and then aged in 50% new French oak from the Troncais forest. The result is a big, full bodied wine with dark black fruits and fine grained tannins with a finish that goes on and on. Decant if drinking now, or hold for up to 15 years.
