This Cabernet Franc was sourced from Kiona Vineyards in Red Mountain. The nose is full of deep dark berries, with a hint of sour cherry. On the palate this wine is full bodied, with lots of blackberry and cassis. The acids are well balanced and the tannins are impressive on the finish, lingering for a lengthy time. This wine shows more characteristics of Cabernet, rather than the traditional floral notes of Franc. Drink now through 2025.
100% Viognier from Dwelley Farm Vineyards in Walla Walla. Barrel fermented, this Viognier has an aroma reminiscent of wild Washington honeysuckle combined with citrus, guava and lychee nut. It rests heavy and rich on the palate and an interesting orange zest tanginess surprises the tongue. Flavors consist of pineapple, blood orange, and spice box with a lingering finish.

Intense primary aromas of black currant and dark cherry are followed by hints of cedar. On the palate, those flavors are confirmed and embellished with cinnamon, chocolate, and brioche toast. Balance is the star here. The tannins, while assertive, have been polished by lengthy aging and give this wine a strong backbone. The acidity elevates all of the flavor components. Still developing, please decant this wine for an hour before serving. Or cellar up to ten years.
A Bordeaux style red blend, Raptor is our Flagship Red wine. Equal amounts of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc are enhanced by a small (1%) amount of Petit Verdot. In the glass you'll find black raspberry, cassis, dark plum, graphite and a hint of chocolate aromas. On the palate it is a mouthful, yet not heavy, for such a big wine. The black fruits shine through with moderately high tannins, and a surprisingly long finish.
We took grapes we had secured from Kiona Vineyard Estate in Red Mountain and made our best wine to date! The vines were planted in 1978 and create luscious fruit. The wine was fermented in our French Oak vat, and then aged in 50% new French oak from the Troncais forest. The result is a big, full bodied wine with dark black fruits and fine grained tannins with a finish that goes on and on. Decant if drinking now, or hold for up to 15 years.
A blend of 50% Cabernet Sauvignon and 50% Merlot. A gigantic, rich, complex wine. Sumptuous, plummy red and black berry nose with a hint of tobacco. Tight tannins and flavors. This wine will open up beautifully in your glass, especially if you decant it. It is quite young for a 2015. Hold for a bit and drink through 2029
