"Rich plum and vanilla aromas are spiced with pepper, cinnamon, clove and thyme on the nose. Dusty tannins are well structured and deceptively silken, while acidity zags in and out in a way that is surprising yet exciting. The palate is filled with bright, ripe cherry, plum and vanilla as well as cocoa powder and crushed herbs. The acidity gives a final red-berry push through the finish introducing whole peppercorn and a lingering caress of tannins."
