NEW RELEASE 2nd ever release! In 2022 we were able to access fruit from an exceptional 1985 planting that averaged only three grapes per cluster. This allows the vines, with soil that is a mix of clay and shalestone, to devote all of their energy into the development of these fruits, bearing exceptional floral notes and spicy tones that are the hallmark of the Gewurztraminer varietal. The wine was fermented for 10 months in a single stainless-steel tank, with monthly bâtonnage sur lies (stirring of the lees) to enhance its complexity and mouthfeel. This is a perfect pairing for your thanksgiving feast, complimenting the turkey and the many other flavors of the meal! We only had access to this vineyard for the second time, so be certain to secure your bottles of this exceptional wine before we run out!
