The fruit for our 2016 Merlot was sourced from the Wahluke Slope Vineyard, one of Washington State’s best resources for red wine grapes. The wine offers aromas of black plum with enticing notes of vanilla and spice. The fruit is intense with exceptional color and freshness. The wine is aged in 25% new French oak barrels to soften the tannins and provide structure. On the palate it is velvety with excellent acidity and long lasting finish.
