Toasty goodness greets you on first sniff, redolent of vanilla, fresh summer grass, and ripe dragonfruits and pomegranate. This wine has fine grain tannins, bright pie cherries, pomegranates, and strawberry flavors, a lemon-peel citrusy middle, and a long vanilla finish. There are subtle spices of clove and nutmeg with a slight hint of leather, and did I mention the long finish? Delicious. 100% Pommard, 50% new oak.
