The Sauvignon Blanc and Phoenix grapes in this blend were hand picked and the free run juice was cool fermented resulting in a full bodied wine with melon and elderflowers on the nose and a delicate splash of gooseberry, with fresh citrus and minerality. A light Sur Lie aging in French Oak barrels produced a Fume’ style wine with a smooth, creamy texture and adequate structure to pair well with fresh salads, seafood, and light meat dishes. Serve at cool room temperature.
