Saperavi produces a deep, rich red wine from the black skin of this grape. Our Saperavi was oak aged in neutral French oak barrels for 14 months that imparts a round soft body with full mouthfeel. The bouquet is ripe dark berry and cedar. on the palate, the wine is smooth, has a medium tannin structure and layered notes of stewed berries, spice and vanilla.

Comprised of 100% Riesling, Winemaker Scott Kuyon concentrated the flavors by removing some of the water in the Riesling juice.
Its alcohol level allows for this wine to be a great candidate for cellaring. We suggest that you leave this wine in your cellar for three to five years before opening.
Ruby black color. Interesting aromas and flavors of honeyed black raspberries, nettles, mace and cinnamon bark, and vanilla extract with a supple, bright, dryish medium body and a tingling, interesting, medium-long finish conveying accents of marinated beets and olives, pomegranate, with light oak flavor. A dry, super savory red that will excel with game.
Marquette is a hybrid red wine grape developed at the University of Minnesota with Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot in its parentage. Our 2019 Marquette opens with a leather, tobacco and blackberry bouquet. Fuller in body and edgy on the palate with notes of black currant and plum.

"One of my favorite wines is Beaujolais Nouveau, the first wine of the season to be released! A light bodied, fruit forward, no/low tannin wine that is an effortless sipper that also pairs well with a myriad of foods. To that end, years ago, I set out to try and re-create a similar wine using Marechal Foch and Corot Noir. We labelled it Via Ferrata and it was a hit! Yet Runway Red also gained in popularity so much so that we had to use the grapes slated for Via to increase our Runway Red production and alas, Via disappeared.
This year we had a little extra. A little extra time and grapes and tank space. So we decided to bring Via Ferrata back, but in a more traditional way. Using carbonic maceration, light hands and a different yeast selection, we are bringing back Via but in the style it was originally intended! Carbonic maceration is a process that involves whole cluster fermentation under a blanket of carbon dioxide. This process produces a light bodied wine that is very fruit forward and is meant to be consumed young since it lacks the structure to age well."
