The 2016 Lake County Sauvignon Blanc is a delicate golden straw color in the glass. The nose is of mandarin orange, pear and apricot with delicate hints of fresh cut alfalfa hay. The mouth feel is perfectly viscous and well balanced against bright acid. Flavors of ripe apricot, pear, golden apple and sautéed bananas dance across the palate in this wine which is quite literally gold in a glass!
