Nouveau ("new" in French) represents a time of celebration. In Beaujolais, they started a tradition of wasting no time raising a glass of their just-bottled red wine - the first of the new vintage, mere weeks following fermentation, culminating the enduring days of harvest - at midnight on the third Thursday of November. Our Nouveau is a tribute to the idea of such celebration, featuring the Marechal Foch grape, named after the decorated French general who served in the first World War. our deep purple expression bursts with fresh black and red verries, complimented by subtle violet overtones.
