Our Russian River Valley Zinfandel vineyards thrive in our cooler region that allows for long hang time and even ripening, which is unusual for Zinfandel. In 2018, our estate vineyard, Crazy Run Ranch, is the sole source of grapes; both Zinfandel and Petite Sirah. The mild season allowed a late harvest with moderate sugar levels, producing a wine with fresh fruit and balanced acidity. Flavors of black cherries and currants with a touch of white pepper combine to make a food friendly wine that can also be enjoyed on its own.
