The 2018 vintage was a cooler vintage here in the Russian River Valley. These conditions produce Syrah with floral and earth tones in a restrained style. We used 20% new French oak with the remaining in neutral cooperage. A little Petite Sirah and Mourvédre add complexity and length. This wine may be aged for a very long time (10 years or more) in the cellar, if you are able to resist.
