As usual, the Syrah grapes for this wine were sourced from Atoosa’s Vineyard and our estate Crazy Run Ranch Vineryard. We used the entire growing season in 2019, with a mid-October harvest. These conditions provide a rich and flavorful, yet well balanced Syrah. We used 20% new French oak with the remaining in neutral cooperage. A little Petite Sirah and Mourvédre add complexity and length. This wine may be aged for a very long time (10 years or more) in the cellar, if you are able to resist.
