Our Russian River Valley Syrah always does a great job of reflecting the growing season of each vintage. In 2013, plenty of sun has given us a big, rich Syrah with good structure for aging. We use 20% new French oak with the remaining in neutral cooperage. A little Mourvédre and Petite Sirah add complexity and length. This wine may be aged for a very long time (7 to 9 years or more) in the cellar, if you
are able to resist.
