Syrah 88% - Petite Sirah 7% - Mourvédre 5% Our 2016 Syrah is a big, rich wine with the balance and grace of a Russian River wine. The 2016 vintage was the last in a string of drought years in California, harvest began earlier than usual but late season cooling allowed the Syrah to hang until October. We used 20% new French oak with the remaining in neutral cooperage. A little Petite Sirah and Mourvédre add complexity and length. This wine may be aged for a very long time (10 years or more) in the cellar, if you are able to resist.
