This well balanced and wonderfully complex wine is bursting with rich black fruit and toasty, oaky barrel sweetness. Notice black cherry, mocha, clove, black tea, anise and fresh cut grass on the nose. The palate reveals a wine soft in tannins, with medium acidity and a plump mouthfeel that gives way to flavors of ripe Damson plums, blackberries, toffee, vanilla and herbs. This fresh, fruity and fragrant dry rosé, comprised of 100% Cabernet Franc, was grown at our vineyard in Palisade, on 38 ¼ Road. The bright nose offers elegant florals enhanced by aromas of vanilla, honeysuckle and freshly cut strawberries. Incredibly refreshing, the lush palate presents a delicate peppery spice, quiet mineral tones, fat mango and juicy cassis that lead to a lingering finish. This rosé is the perfect pairing for a variety of different foods or simply front porch summer sipping.

This medium bodied Petit Verdot offers layer after layer of pleasant complexity. On the nose you will find a potpourri of red cherry, cedar, anise, black pepper and vanilla. The soft, welcoming palate reveals a bright acidity balanced by juicy black fruit, herbaceous undertones and a touch of toasty oak followed by a most enduring finish. Let this wine open up in your glass to encourage enticing aromatics. Perfume, stone fruit and hints of mocha will begin to develop with time. The mouthfeel combines bright acidity with fresh cherry, toast, mocha and hints of caramel.

This elegant, unoaked Chardonnay is reminiscent of a French Chablis. On the nose you will find Asian pear, nectarine and a nice minerality. The nose is floral, delicate and complex. Our Riesling is dry with bright acidity. The palate is bright and expressive, reminiscent of pears and apples with a lovely, lingering finish.

This red Rhone blend is comprised of Mourvedre and Cinsault. The wine is light bodied yet complex. Bright fruit and acidity with soft tannin structure make this a very food friendly wine. Juicy berry fruit, smoke and pepper best describe this Rosso.

Our Petit Verdot remains a favorite with our customers due to its versatility with food. Expect red cherry, raspberry, and black pepper on the nose. The palate reveals bright acidity with red cherry, clove, cola and a hint of smoke. Our Petit Verdot is an excellent alternative to dishes often paired with white wines.

Grown at The Vinelands, Creekside’s vineyard in Palisade, Colorado, our Syrah’s deep, dark color foreshadows its velvety sensuality on the palate. Expect notes of blackberry, plum and olive, with black pepper lingering on the finish. Aged for 15 months in new French oak, our Syrah pairs nicely with pheasant, quail and pork tenderloin.

One enchanting evening in the 1880s, highly esteemed Syrah and lesser known Peloursin were introduced. One thing led to another, and after a wild night in the vineyard, Petite Sirah emerged. This deep, dark, voluptuous and chewy wine is bursting with lush flavors that stand up to rich foods such as barbequed pork and beef, game meats and creamy sauces. The nose erupts with aromas of cherry pie, cinnamon, clove, delicious baking spices and hints of dark chocolate. The luxurious mouthfeel and bountiful tannins give way to intense flavors of Empress plum, smokey black fruit and underlying tones of black licorice. Enjoy this beauty now or lay it down and allow it to evolve in the bottle for years to come.

This Merlot is bursting with black fruit. On the nose look for black cherry, plum, cassis, toffee and a hint of forest floor. Blackberry, black cherry, boysenberry, toasty oak, black tea, accompanied by medium tannins and acidity best describe the palate.

This 2017 vintage Cabernet Sauvignon could be our best yet! The terroir of the vineyard shines through in this vintage. Black currant, cedar, minerality, medium tannins and acidity all contribute to the balance of the wine as well as the impact of the new Seguin Moreau American oak barrels.

This Cabernet Franc was aged 24 months in 100% new Appalachian oak barrels, imparting intense, complex flavors. As the wine ages look for classic Cabernet Franc characteristics of leather, tobacco and spice. This is Franc, Colorado’s Cabernet.

Our 5th release of Robusto and we can’t be more excited. This vintage is 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Cabernet Franc, 10% Merlot, 7% Petit Verdot & 3% Malbec. Give this wine a little air and watch it evolve in your glass from shy and reserved to bold and beautiful. Plenty of tannin and acidity make this an age worthy wine but why wait?

Rich and powerful best describe this port. Experience caramel, hazelnut, hints of vanilla, coffee and chocolate on the nose and palate. This port was aged over 15 years in oak barrels and won't disappoint.

This Malbec is more reminiscent of the Cahors, France style Malbec. It offers mouth-watering acidity with medium tannins. The mouthfeel is balanced and smooth. Look for berry fruit, hints of vanilla and baking spices. It is a favorite with our customers and is making a name for itself within the Colorado wine industry.

Roussanne is a late ripening variety that produces powerful white wines. It features scents of peaches, pears, herbs and roasted nuts. On the palate expect lemon curd, peaches, and a rich, silky texture. Red wine only drinkers will enjoy this exotic, complex wine.

We are always excited by the Viognier our vineyard produces. It is still our #1 selling wine at Creekside Cellars. The nose is packed with apricot, mango and a hint of tangerine. The mouth feel is viscous and refreshing. Look for apricot, honeydew, ripe peaches and medium acidity on the palate. It pairs well with seafood, veal, pork and Asian cuisine.

Rose all day! This blend of Grenache and Carmenere, with a touch of Syrah, is typical of a Provencal style Rose; bright fruit, dry and refreshing. The bouquet exhibits strawberry, rose petal, grapefruit and tropical notes. The mouthfeel is sumptuous and the palate expresses flavors of hibiscus, honeysuckle and bright red fruit. This delicious summer sipper pairs nicely with aromatic spices, grilled vegetables and Antipasto.

This light to medium bodied wine is especially balanced and reminiscent of a fall walk.
