This bottling of the 2021 Tempranillo is mainly comprised of Tempranillo (80%) with 13% Syrah, and 7% Graciano added to the final blend which was aged in neutral French oak barrels for 16 months prior to bottling. This wine opens with aromas of blackberry, boysenberry, leather, and light baking spices. On the palate it is medium to full bodied, structured, and balanced with more dark fruit flavors, licorice, dried herbs and a slight earthiness. The tannins are round and mouth coating with a long finish.
