This bottling of the 2022 Tempranillo is mainly comprised of Tempranillo (77%) with 19% Syrah, and 4% Graciano added to the final blend which was aged in neutral French oak barrels for 16 months prior to bottling. 2022 was another great vintage if Tempranillo. The wine opens with aromas of blackberry, boysenberry, leather, and light baking spices. On the palate it is medium to full bodied, structured, and balanced with more dark fruit flavors, licorice, dried herbs and a slight earthiness. The tannins are round and mouth coating with a long finish.

Light, refreshing and simply delicious. This rose has the prettiest pale pink color. Aromatic nose of rose petal, watermelon, rhubarb and a touch of pink grapefruit. On the palate fresh flavors of white peach, melon and strawberry are wonderfully framed with a nice acidity. The wine is light and refreshing but has layers of complexity. Bring on the warmer weather!

2022 Albariño Reserva

Handpicked grapes were whole cluster pressed and fermented an amphora tank and neutral oak barrels. After fermentation, the wine was aged on the yeast lees for 14 months prior to blending and bottling. During the aging process, the yeast lees in the barrels were stirred weekly and the amphora stirred monthly. The wine opens with aromas of honey suckle, Meyer lemon and melon with a subtle background of rainy sidewalk. On the palate there are layers of flavors including lemon zest, honeydew, and wet stone. A distinct minerality imparted from the concrete amphora melds with the fruit flavors on the palate and finishes with an interesting salinity note which will leave your mouth wanting for another sip.

This Garnacha was sourced from Stone Tree Vineyard, located on the south slope of the Saddle Mountains near Mattawa in the Wahluke Slope AVA. Garnacha loves the warm and dry climate of this vineyard. This wine is a beautiful example of the varietal and manages to capture a balance of both its elegant red fruit and earthy side as well as its darker, dense fruit and spicy attributes. This wine opens with a pretty bouquet of ripe strawberry and raspberry, spring flowers and hints of cinnamon and white pepper. This carries over to the medium bodied palate and finishes with smooth tannins and a flawless balance. This is a bottle you will want to reach for at any given opportunity and you will be rewarded.
