Blackberry cobbler and dark plum are the main aromatics for this wine. In the glass the wine displays bold ripe blueberry and a touch of fig preserve paired with a good amount of tannins. The layered wine shows just a touch of well-integrated oak before drawing to a long, smooth finish.
Coloradeaux displays layers of concentrated ripe fruit notes in the glass supported by tobacco spice and just a touch of oak. On the palate, this wine is juicy with notes of dark fruit and blueberry preserve. Broad structural tannins and just enough acid, balance the juicy fruitfulness. The art of blending is on full display with Coloradeaux. Since we are not bound by varietal, we are able to draw on the strengths of each of the wines we have in the cellar. The result is a complex and layered wine that is quickly becoming a benchmark Bordeaux-styled blend from Colorado.
Colterris Cabernet Sauvignon displays aromatics of dark concentrated fruits like black current and ripe blackberry with subtle notes of cocoa, tobacco and dried rosemary in support. On the palate, the wine is layered and complex with robust fruitfulness, velvety smooth tannins and subtle savory notes held together with a juicy mid-palate and subtle acidity throughout.
VARIETAL COMPOSITION: 97% Cabernet Sauvignon, 1.5% Petit Verdot, 1.5% Merlot
Our 2019 Petit Verdot presents a complex aroma of raspberry, dark chocolate, and plum preserves. On the palate, this wine offers more dark chocolate and concentrated fruit notes with beautifully balanced tannins and a lift of acidity. Well integrated oak imparts roasted
espresso bean flavors adding elegance and roundness to the finish. Riverside Vineyard continues to be one of the best blocks of grapes we get to make into wine every year, truly a winemaker's and staff favorite!

This rich opulent wine is fermented in 100% Tonnellerie Marsannay French oak barrels for 12 months. The aroma of toasted marshmallow and a touch of vanilla and baking spice are present in the nose. On the palate, a beautiful balance of ripe pears and peaches with rich butterscotch and crème brûlée notes.

The 2020 Estate Selection Cliffside Vineyard Syrah displays aromatics of fresh ripe blackberries. While quite fruitful, a generous pepper spice note and a touch of smoke play a significant complement to the fruit notes. On the palate, this Syrah is round and fruity while still showing notable pepper spice and just the right amount of tannins.
This wine is rich and luscious with great fruitful presence in the glass and on the palate. Well-integrated structural tannins add a nice textural balance to the richness of the wine. On the palate, this wine shows both fresh and concentrated fruit notes, a subtle acid component, and deliciously drinkable opulence!
