A full-bodied red wine made from Norton (a.k.a. Cynthiana), the only native American red grape capable of producing world class red wines. Grapes are sourced from vineyards around the state, fermented in small lots, then aged for 12-16 months in Kentucky-coopered American oak barrels. Norton has a deep garnet color and flavors characterized by earthy elements accented with brown spice flavors of nutmeg, cinnamon and clove.
