The 2017 Tannat brings the weight of the 2017 vintage to bottle. The dense mouthfeel and tannins are cut by a subtle acidity, complementing the dark berry and baking spice aromas. 98% Tannat, 2% Petit Verdot. Aged 19 months in 40% new French oak and 50% new American oak. 100% estate grown. Vegan. 13.85% alc.

Notes

The 2017 growing season was close to ideal for our region. A long growing season with cool nights allowed for greater ripeness, while maintaining acidity in the fruit. This special vintage was most demonstrated in the reds.
