Twisted Cedar 2016 Lodi Chardonnay is 65%oak aged for ten months in French and American oak, with a crip acidity from the 35% of unoaked Chardonnay. There is a pronounced aroma of toasty bread crust from sur lie aging. Tropical fruit notes are a highlight. Certified sustainable through Lodi Rules for Sustainable Wine Growing, Twisted Cedar wines reflect a commitment to quality wine and responsible stewardship. The Twisted Cedar name honors the Cedar Band, one of 5 Bands of the Paiute Indian Tribe of Utah, named after the cedar tree that heavily populated their land.
