The 2020 Vintage is our inaugural release for our 2020 Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. It is sourced from the low benchland against the Mayacamas Mountains and shows the sun kissed notes of the vintage. Loads of Blackberries, Currants, Fig and Black Cherries are immediately present with secondary notes of tar, black shoe polish, graphite, cedar, and a dusty, loamy note that is subtle and brings a slight savory note to the gobs of black fruits. This Cabernet is elegant and subtle with juicy fresh berries and a medium bodied tannin profile that is fruit centered and delicious. This wine is more elegant and a reflection of the vintage, 2020, which showed lower color and medium tannins compared to other more recent vintages. This is a wonderfully complex Cabernet Sauvignon from Alexander Valley. Pair this wine with cheeses like aged cheddar, Gorgonzola or a rich triple cream brie. Grilled Lamb and hamburgers are a must, or braised short ribs. Decant it for a few hours prior to trying for maximum enjoyment.

A bolder expression of Pinot Noir showing the richness of the 2021 vintage with aromas of dark fruits, showcasing ripe purple plum, black cherries and blackberries with notes of cherry cordial and cola berries, complimented by notes of cinnamon, and warm baking spices. The mouth is full and rich and the wine still showing youthful exuberance. Some light decanting (2-4 hours) and slight chill will help this wine show all it has to offer! The 2021 vintage shows great color density and a medium to full tannin profile that is supple with structured tannins that will reward with short term cellaring of 2-3 years. The flavors of this Pinot Noir are rich and textured with dark berries, plum fruit, fresh black cherries and perfumed sweet cherry cordial. A rich, bold taste profile keeps the ripe fruit centered in the mouth and a creamy and juicy texture keeps this wine fresh and focused.

This wine is sourced from the Kiser vineyard of the famed Sangiacomo growers in the Sonoma Carneros region of Sonoma Coast. The vineyard is an old block of heritage Dijon clones which shows great fruit intensity and purity. This new release shows how much this site has to offer with wonderful flavors and aromatics that are seldom reached in other sites. Our Chardonnay has a complex aroma profile showing Lemon Blossom, Lemon Oil, Lemon Curd, Honey Suckle and floral notes, French Vanilla bean and Crème Brule. There are subtle notes of stone fruits such as white peach and Mango, both fresh and dried with sugar. The palate has juicy fresh flavors of lemon and orange curd, custard, and juicy white peaches and dried Mango slices complimented with notes of Crème Brulé and nougat. Aromatically this wine has many layers and will reward with more time in the glass. The 2021 vintage was a drought year that saw the vines come out early after a low rainfall year. Vines responding to the conditions putting out a shorter canopy and smaller crop with tight small clusters and berries. The result was a vintage immediately recognized for its intensity, structure and purity in the fruit that was harvested. This Chardonnay shows the depth and concentration of the vintage but is light on its feet with beautiful fruit purity. Enjoy this Chardonnay with rich cheeses, Charcuterie boards, cracked lobster tail or any flakey white fish.

Our Malbec exudes notes of blackberries and black cherries, Violets and perfumed flowers, pomegranate, complimented by notes of wet tobacco leaf, cedar cigar box, forest floor and Earl grey tea. There is a warm, comforting feel to the aromas, and they are both familiar and exotic at the same time. The flavors echo the aroma with rich blackberries, ripe black cherries and tobacco leaf with a generous but soft tannin and a touch of lingering acidity. 2021 shows the intensity of the vintage with push and rich tannins and a rich core of fruit and tannin. This wine should be decanted for 30 mins to 1 hour before enjoying.

Our Syrah hails from Bennett Valley, a tiny appellation in Sonoma County known for its volcanic soils, moderate growing season and a collection of growers that have all bought in to high quality wine grape production. We chose Bennett Valley because of its uniqueness and our belief that it could produce a California style Rhone Syrah wine. In 2006 we found Nolan Vineyard in Bennett Valley, a small grower focused solely on Syrah. Ken Hunt, the proprietor, has managed the 3.5 acre site since its inception. His attention to detail and respect to the area and grape variety are second to none. Gradually we have moved to more of an emphasis on whole cluster and native yeast in the fermentation process, relying on the terroir and native yeasts for site expression. Our 2021 Syrah opens with beautiful aromas of blueberries, blackberries, fig, molasses, dark bakers chocolate, and prune mixed with notes of saddle leather, roasted meats, black tea leaves and dried spices. The flavors are similar to the nose with notes of juicy black fruits, chocolate, sweet berries with savory notes as well.

This Rosé of Pinot Noir has subtle and appealing aromas of rose water, fresh, ripe strawberries, wilted rose petals and watermelon pulp. The aroma is subtle and nuanced, extremely pleasant and intriguing. Our Rosé is crisp, delicate, and completely dry but with a pleasant, sweet texture because of the delicate style in which it is produced. At an alcohol of 13,4% it finishes with a touch of minerality, while its flavors of fresh summer fruits mingle with the brisk acidity on the finish. This is a Rosé that is best consumed LIGHTLY chilled upon release, in the spring and summer, when the weather is warm. Our Rosé pairs with trout cooked with crispy skin, seafood risotto and grilled octopus as well as many other dishes.

Our Sauvignon Blanc has quickly become a favorite of both club members and visitors alike. This wine is packed with Passion Fruit, Ruby Red Grapefruit, Jasmine, Key Lime Pie, and Lime Vanilla Custard with notes of poached pears, spearmint and floral tea. Very rarely do you see these many aromatics on display all at once. If you let the wine breath a bit oxygen reveals subtle dried herbs and tea leaf, a beautiful expression of the varietal. This Sauvignon Blanc was fermented over 3 weeks in very old white wine barrels to add a little texture and depth to its brisk acidity and fresh, clean profile. The flavors of fresh Passion Fruit and Ruby Red Grapefruit mingle with the acidity on the finish creating a lively exciting wine from start to finish. The barrel fermentation provides some creaminess that helps balance out the zippy acidity. This Sauvignon Blanc is best consumed LIGHTLY chilled upon release, in the spring and summer, when the weather is warm.
