The 2014 V3 is a blend of 50% Cabernet Sauvignon 25% each of Merlot and Petit Verdot. On the nose a rich aroma of baker's chocolate emerges, followed by notes of dried dark plum. The wine posses intricate layers of sage, raspberry, red cherry and finishes with balanced notes of forest floor cedar.
The majority of this wine was fermented in the same oak vessel that it was aged in which allows for a greater integration of both flavor and tannin. All of the components of the 2014 V3 underwent a natural fermentation and were allowed to progress at their own pace with very little intervention. It is our philosophy that this approach allows the wine to present the purest expression of our unique property and its terroir possible. Grown high above the valley floor and on steep hillsides, we hope you can taste all the love and passion that has been afforded every grape.
