Our 2019 Grenache Blanc is grown in the Western Hills of the Rogue Valley near Talent, Oregon. At an elevation of 2000 feet we have a wonderful temperature swing from day to night which helps build acids in the grapes and lends to beautiful aromatics and crisp flavors. The soil at the Fort Miller Vineyard is a mix of Clay/Loam and Volcanic Alluvial. Aromas of pear, honey crisp apples and apricots lead the way to tastes of lemon, nectarine, fresh bay leaf and crisp green apples. The backdrop to this beautiful wine is a crisp yet smooth texture and salinity reminiscent of a walk through an ocean forest to a cliff by the sea.
