This is the wine that perhaps illustrates our winemaking philosophy the best: blended wines that are totally non-traditional and make the best use of the material on-hand in our vineyard. A wine that even a blindfolded Italian would identify as of his country.
We use Peverella, a rare north Italian specialty with a spicy finish, Tocai Friulano from the northeast, and Forastera from the deep South. Beginning in this vintage there is also a small amount of the deep South variety FIANO.
