This light sweet bubbling wine is made from Niagara wine with a touch of red wine added to give it the pink color. Our goal for this wine is to send a message of awareness and hope for all those whose lives have been touched by cancer. For each bottle sold, $1 will be donated to Relay for Life. The artwork for this wine was created by J.T. Dossett who creates some amazing artwork despite having a disabling condition called Lesch-Nyhan Syndrome, which has similarities to cerebral palsy.

Created from Illinois-grown Frontenac and Chambourcin grapes, this semi-dry red wine appeals to both dry and sweet wine lovers and is our number one selling wine at the Tasting Room. Berlyn’s name comes from the combination of the owners’ middle names (Mark Bernard and Teri Lyn Wenzel) and reflects the unique character of taking the best grapes to come up with a blend that is better than one wine standing on its own.

A smooth and timeless dry, red table wine made from Illinois-grown Chambourcin grapes. This medium-bodied wine is similar in style to a light pinot noir with its upfront fruit character and aromas and flavors of blueberry and cinnamon.

Chambourcin Reserve is a medium-bodied red wine with soft tannins and a smooth finish. Ten months in American oak casks contribute to the subtle earthy notes of black raspberry, licorice, clove, lavender, and cedar, which roll across the palate. Decanting has a nice effect on Chambourcin Reserve, enhancing the flavors and aromas.

Pairing: Steaks, pork chops, and dark chocolate.

A semi-dry, light-bodied rosé wine made from Illinois-grown Chambourcin grapes with notes of apricot, clove, orange cream soda, and violet. The bright acidity of this wine makes it refreshing and enjoyable to drink.

Chardonel is a rich, fruit-forward wine that is fermented and aged sur lies in oak. This dry and refreshing white wine exhibits a complex set of aromas and flavors - fresh butter, vanilla, bananas flambé, honeysuckle, and cream soda. Similar in style to its parent grape, Chardonnay.

ranberry Infusion is a light, semi-sweet bubbling wine made from 100% cranberries. Just like the cranberry sauce you might serve at Thanksgiving, this wine starts out with a sweet taste and ends with a refreshing tart finish.

Norton is a medium-bodied dry red wine made with premium Norton grapes. This wine has characteristics of blueberry pie, black raspberry, and cedar. Norton is a great pairing with a variety of foods due to its supple tannins and nice acidity.

Nouveau, a celebration of our first wine release of the 2022 vintage year, is a light-bodied semi-dry red made from Chambourcin and Norton grapes. Nouveau is exuberantly fruity, but clean and fresh, with good fruit and acid balance.

A semi-sweet white table wine similar in style to a sweet Riesling. The inspiration for the name comes from AHW owner, Teri Wenzel’s dad. William loved the land and would have loved to help prune and harvest the grapes. He loved meeting new people wherever he went; our Sweet William is a young, uncomplicated wine to be shared with new and old friends.
