2020 was a tremendous growing year on the Niagara Escarpment. Warm sunny days, cool nights, and minimal rainfall combined to produce very high-quality fruit.
We grow 3 certified Franch clones of Cabernet Franc: 214, 327, and 623. This wine is fermented in small lots separated by vineyard block and aged for 24 months in a variety of oak barrels (20% new, 30% neutral, and the remainder somewhere in between).
The resulting wine is smooth and velvety, pairing well with pizza and grilled foods.
