A fresh medium to deep ruby color, this estate grown wine presents traditional Cabernet Sauvignon flavors of black fruits with hints of herbaceous notes, coupled with flavors and aromas of oak aging. On the nose, black cherry, plum, and green pepper balances with hints of clove and black pepper. Then on the palate, flavors of tobacco, smoked cedar, and black pepper add to the depth of this complex cool climate Cabernet. Oak aging in French barrels has helped to round out the tannins to be bold, yet velvety which hold through the finish.
Great with red meat, a cheese tray, or other dishes high in flavor.
