Sparkling Red Pinot Noir - sourced from Long Island, NY in September 2020. Picked early, driven back to the winery, crushed and fermented to dry as a red wine to extract the color from the berries.
We used no oak or malolactic fermentation on this wine. We took this red wine and carbonated it via the Charmat method and bottled it. It is bright and acidic. This is a wine that will age.
