This white wine just happens to be a blend of Pinot Gris & Auxerrois. The nose screams of all things Pinot Gris with notes of citrus zest & white flowers. Auxerrois makes its appearance on the palate with passion fruit & melon all wrapped up with a crisp and zingy finish.
Our favorite white blend is back with just a touch of sweetness! Inspired by the tree that our mother Mary was wise enough to fight to keep in the middle of the vineyard, we love this wine to reflect the story of the year the grapes were grown in. 2019 was a cooler vintage and this year’s blend was dominated by the melon and pear flavor of Auxerrois at 45%, with Pinot Blanc bringing some beautiful acidity at 30% and 25% Muscat Ottonel bringing floral and herbal notes to the wine.
Ripe Pinot Gris grapes contain just enough color in the skins to allow us to create a Rosé. The warm and sunny 2021 harvest brings soft fruit and floral flavors. Exploding with notes of juicy strawberry and green tea, this is a crisp and refreshing rosé. This dry wine has a perfect place at a picnic, or prime seat at a party.
Unoaked Chardonnay from the Rose Crest Vineyard, vintage 2018. A warm growing season provided the basis for this exceptional round and delicious Chardonnay. Ripe pear flavors and subtle acidity perpetuate a lasting mouthfeel and smooth finish.
Inspired by the summer garden parties of Grosse Pointe, this off dry lightly sparkling blend of 45% Riesling, 32% Pinot Blanc and 23% Auxerrois is perfect for any occasion. From that first expression of peachy fruit to the refreshing lemon finish, this is a wine that is a pleasure to drink.
When preparing to plant our second vineyard in 2014, Mary, whose dream it was to start a family winery, insisted that the giant old maple in the center of the field not be cut down. Though she passed on, the maple remains. The collection of grapes that grow in this field made the base for this pet-nat, producing a dry sparkling blend layered with complexity, worthy of bearing Mary’s name.
Blend: Auxerrois, Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris, Muscat Ottonel, Marquette
It can’t be summer without the perfect pink wine, and we think this delightful blush blend of Auxerrois and Marquette makes the best wine for hot days! We created a blend that is full of juicy watermelon on the and enough sweetness to bring sunlight to a cloudy day, while still being refreshing.

Marble is the blend of a barrel fermented Chardonnay topped off with a blend of red grapes that snuck into our white grape plantings. This fuller bodied rosé is complex. Notes of preserved lemon and plum develop into raspberry. The acidity is balanced with a long round finish. We love this wine decanted too - it brings out the extra fruit.
This beautiful wine from 2019 exemplifies the light and fresh nature of Leelanau Pinot Blanc. 2019 was a cooler vintage, resulting in a truly fun wine. With tasting notes like Bartlett Pear, Meyer Lemon, and Bouncy Acidity this wine is pure fun. Definitely check it out, especially if you are a fan of our 2020 Bohn Dry Riesling.
We love the way Riesling ranges from dry to sweet, but our personal favorites are right in the middle. This Riesling has just a touch of sweetness at 1.5% RS, enough to balance sharp acidity and bergamot citrus with a hint of bubblegum and a full mid palate. We are so excited to see how this pairs with food, and think it has some incredible aging potential.
Grown on the North Coast of California brought to Leelanau County to give you a nice full to medium body red wine. Made into a blend of Zinfandel, Cab Franc & Petite Sirah, giving it fruit forward flavor of red currant & a mouth full of some nice chewy tannins
2017 Hail Mary Riesling: is a perfect expression of the natural ripeness of the grape. Upon the first taste you will get hints of dried mango, apricot and honey, with a touch of petrol and Thai basil on the nose.
You may go South for the Winter you may head West chasing the sun. You may seek eden to the East, but when in search of the greatest wines Michigan has to offer, all roads Point North. No matter which direction you travel, your journey will benefit from this delightful red blend.
A dry blend full of peach & melon with a soft edge of floral notes, remains intense and full-bodied; shows off the best of the three varieties that make up the blend. Picked In mid-September of 2017 from our Mary’s Folly Vineyard where Pinot Blanc, Muscat Ottonel and Auxerrois shelter in the embrace of an old maple that the Goodell Family matriarch, Mary, could not bear to see cut down.
