Current notes: 2018 is the only vintage I made Sound of Memory with 100% Foch. It reminds me a lot of cru Beaujolais. There's a really fine structure here. It's not showy or flashy, but it is very beautiful. Lots of earthier, forest-y flavors, with some savory cranberry and currant.
From release: 100% Marechal Foch. Whole-cluster fermentation, aged in stainless steel for 18 months, under pellicle.
Dark and brooding with notes of cranberry, apple skin and tobacco.
