Valkyrie hits different as a semi-dry mead. This one is for the dry-hopped beer lover. We used a combination of 2 hop varieties to make what’s essentially a double-dry-hopped mead. Due to the dry-hopping process, the hops lend only a small amount of bitterness as compared to cooking them in the boil. The floral aromas present from the dry hop process combined with the raw honey are highly pronounced. This is a wonderful outdoor sipper. Vibrant and refreshing hops on the nose with grapefruit/orange citrus on the front palette. The honey sweetness is subtle, lending its hand to balance the very slight bitterness from the hops.
