Crack open this bottle and pour yourself a nice big glass. This deep purple wine opens up with a bright raspberry, plum, and red currant notes on the nose. You’ll notice a pinch of black cherry and savory hickory notes as well. Dive deeper into the next layer of this complex wine and you’ll find hints of cocoa and violet. On the palate this wine is still bright with some nice acidity, soften tannins and a medium body. The finish is warm and friendly asking you for another sip. The grapes in this bottle were harvested on Todd’s mother Pamela’s birthday, October 8th 2012. It was the most exciting adventure watching this wine blossom.
