The 2020 vintage of our Semi Sweet Riesling has a heavy dose of Green Apple on the nose and palate with complimentary notes of mango and pink grapefruit. The sweetness balances out the bright acidity that is featured in Riesling to create a well-balanced, easy drinking white wine, perfect for any occasion. Notes of apricot and beeswax linger on the nose. This year’s vintage was processed differently than previous, with a week-long cold soak before fermentation to provide a cleaner finish and fermentation was halted to provide the correct amount of sugar for this style of Riesling. The winemaking crew recommends enjoying this wine with a nice blue cheese that has good creaminess to balance the acidity of and sweetness of the wine or Hawaiian pulled pork tacos that brings the sweet yet savory punch of pineapple and white meat together.
