55% Grenache and 45% Tannat from Paso Robles' famed Willow Creek District, home to top-scoring wines from heavyweight producers like Saxum, Booker, Denner, Clos Selene, and Torrin. The Grenache and Tannat from the Jada Vineyard were fermented and aged separately for 10 months and then joined in barrel to integrate together for 8 months before bottling. The result is a rich and complex full-bodied wine featuring notes of both red and black fruits, mocha, expresso, and tobacco, with nice acidity and firm tannins. This will pair well with rich proteins (or a nice cigar!), and while already drinking nicely in its youth, will definitely reward those who have the patience to age it for the next 5-7 years. Only 1 barrel produced, so grab some before it's gone!
